How often do your children eat fast food? Processed food? Fresh, organic food?

We rarely get fast food. They sometimes get processed food at the sitters, but mostly they eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. They are on a green smoothie kick right now-they ask for them everyday.

i'm lazy in that i recently haven't been eating well or feeding hubby well but making stuff for son. he eats chicken nuggets and fries on occassion but opts for grapes and apple fries over french fries the last few times we've been out Smile. i don't really pay attention if it was locally grown or what, or organically grown. i just buy what's cheapest at the time at the store i'm at. i dont buy sweet cereals (plain cheerios ftw!) or snacks b/c my hubby and i will eat them all in a day so, if u come to my house dont expect much snack food, if any.

Green smoothies: Fill up the blender with spinach. Add enough water to blend it up. Throw in 3-4 frozen bananas, a tablespoon or 2 of peanut butter (optional) and a tablespoon of flax seed (opt). Start off with less spinach and more fruit and slowly increase spinach amt as your taste for it grows. Experiment with different greens and fruits!
